BIOGRAPHY

Mahiir started to perform on stage when he first joined Dikir Barat for his Co-Curriculum Activities (CCA) during his primary school times. He then got appointed to be the lead singer (TOK JUARA) 2 years later . He got nominated for Top 3 best Tok Juara for Inter-School and the team won in some of the competitions. He then challenged himself to compete in Asia's Got Talent (Season 1) and got through to the 2nd round. This was one of his first competition ever to compete.

Fun Fact! He wanted to go to Woodgrove Secondary School as it is known for an annual school talent competition known as 'Woodgrove Idol'. Weird right? Hahaha! Anyways , Mahiir competed the school's talent competition on his first year and got 2nd , and got 3rd as a duo on his third year.

Mahiir could only sing and not able to play any instrument at that time, so he went to the Malay Youth Performing Arts (MYPART) to learn on how to play guitar, instead, he got the lessons for free and was invited straight away to be one of the singers for MyPart after the owner of MyPART, Moliano (guitarist for a singapore rock band allled LOVEHUNTERS) listened to Mahiir's vocal. He had the chance to perform various shows such as wedding events , marathon event and any more!

College Times

2017, Mahiir got into ITE Central and joined ITE ShowChoir for his CCA. He learnt a lot in showchoir till he knows how to read music scores. He also had the chance to perform the most famous show for the whole ITE , the ITE VOCALXCHANGE. "Singing while dancing is never easy!"

Mahiir competed a couple of singing competitions in various years such as NYPJAM , Anugerah Suria , Rising Star and the latest, SuaraWGS.

Present

Mahiir is taking Diploma in Music at Lasalle College of Arts and he is in his final year. He will be having his recital live at the Singapore Airlines Theatre, Lasalle College of Arts on the 24 November 2023, 7pm. Do catch him up!

In his free time, he would do covers at home.
